Hey everyone,
Finally!
For those interested in beta testing Jamcast for Android, please reply to this thread and we'll be contacting you within the next week with details on downloading the app.
The first round of beta testing is limited to licensed users only and will continue for a few weeks until everyone feels it's ready for a more public beta for trial users.
To get involved, please reply to this thread with the following for each device you plan to test with:
- Make/Model
- OS version (please specify custom ROM if applicable)
Thanks, and we look forward to the community's feedback!
Scott

I've been looking all night for an app that can stream PC audio (not just music or video files) to an android phone. It seems like you'll be cornering the android market by being the first to offer such functionality. I don't currently have a license, but if I get a beta invite I will purchase one immediately. 29.99 is not cheap, but it's cheaper than buying a wireless pair of headphones.

Hey Scott!! Long time no chat! Remember the many late hours beta testing the original Jamcast with XP and Win2K3?
Count me in on this one.
Motorola Droid Verizon Android 2.2 (the wife's phone)
&
Motorola Droid 2 rooted with Victory Rom V2.0 (mine of course) ;-)
I love controlling my Sonos with the Sonos for Android app & Roku Soundbridges (M2000 & M1001) with Androku from my phone. I'd love to be able to stream audio to the phone via WIFI! Would be cool to be able to stream from home to the phone while on the road over the 3G connection as well (wishfull thinking - perhaps?)

Hi Scott,
This is great news! Please add me to the list of participants in the initial beta. I'm using an HTC Incredible (ADR6300), running Android 2.2. Please let me know if you need additional information.
Regards,
Jambo

g'wan then, twist my arm.
I'm embarrassed to say they were selling off Squeezeboxes cheap so I'm not doing much with Jamcast right now, so I guess I need something to justify that licence ;-)
SonyEricsson X10i running standard 2.2
Galaxy Tab running standard 2.2
Desire HD updated only this week to the official 2.3 (woohoo!)
erm, Archos 101T running standard 2.2
oops... broke the galaxy tab. till it's fixed, I won't be able to do much with that. And even when it's fixed it might be taking a back seat to the shiny new LG Optimus Pad - running Honeycomb :-)
