Jamcast Player for Android 0.9.5 has been published to the
Google Play app store and updates should be pushed to devices momentarily. It's been nearly a year since the initial app release, and this update represents a variety of bug fixes collected from the error reporting system and the Jamcast forums. Overall, users should find the app to be more stable as many common exception cases are now handled gracefully, or are now prevented from occurring altogether.
We hope you enjoy this release of Jamcast Player for Android and look forward to updating the app on a more frequent basis moving forward. If there's a feature you're looking for or a bug you need us to fix, just
let us know via the Jamcast forums.

That's right, in just a few weeks we'll be releasing Jamcast for Android. With the Jamcast server installed at home, this app will give you instant access to your media collection from anywhere you can get a data connection. Add in voice search, native playback support for everything Jamcast server supports (FLAC, AAC, OGG, etc.), album art, and a bunch of other goodies and we're certain this app will be turning some heads. And best of all, the app is available to our users at no extra cost!
More details and screenshots will be arriving as release data approaches, but for now enjoy this FAQ thread in the forums and these screenshots:
